Available Sizes
The system is available in a variety of sizes: 62mm, 67mm, 72mm, 77mm, 82mm, and 95mm. The 58mm size has been discontinued.

Filter Options and Usage
  1. VND Filters (2 to 5 stops and 6 to 9 stops): For variable neutral density (VND) control, select the desired VND filter and align the 'A' mark on the filter with the 'A' on the base ring for proper placement. This ensures accurate stop increments and optimal image quality.
  2. Using CPL Feature: To activate the circular polarizer (CPL), remove any VND filters and attach the CPL filter with the inscription facing outward. This setup allows for 360-degree rotation to adjust polarization effects.
VND6-9/ND32CPL Usage
  1. With VND Base: Mount the VND6-9 filter facing outward in conjunction with the VND Base to attain a Neutral Density effect between 6 and 9 stops, suitable for controlling light intake in very bright conditions.
  2. Switching to ND32CPL: For enhanced polarization with light reduction, replace the VND filter with the ND32CPL filter after removing the one-stop ND glass from the base ring.

  1. VND Base: Use together with VND1-5/CPL or VND6-9/ND32CPL filters to assist in achieving the desired variable light reduction.

  1. Gold Streak Filter: Adds warmth and nostalgia to scenes, perfect for capturing sunsets, desert landscapes, or any setting where a vintage, warm tone is desired.




  1. Effect: Provides a subtle, black-colored mist effect that softens the image slightly, reducing sharpness to create a beautiful, film-like atmosphere. It effectively softens highlights and reduces glare.
  2. Strengths: Available in 1/4 and 1/8 densities, with lower denominators indicating a stronger diffusion effect.
  3. Utility: Allows for the use of a larger Magnetic VND on smaller lens threads without needing a base ring.
  4. Construction: CNC machined aluminum, black anodized to prevent reflections.

Very Important: Must own Magnetic VND to use this step-up ring
  1. What problems does it solve? Using this step-up ring, you won't require the base ring, which comes with Magnetic VND System; for example, if you want to mount 82mm Magnetic VND on your 67mm lens thread previously, you require a 67-82mm step-up + 82mm base ring on this new step-up ring you do not require that base ring anymore as step-up ring act as a base ring.
  2. Built: Made of CNC machined aluminum with black color to avoid any reflection or leakage during your photography.

Q: How do I determine my lens's thread size before purchasing a Magnetic VND System?

A: Locate the "ø" symbol followed by a number on the front of your lens; this number represents the thread size. Match this number with our thread size option available here.


Q: You are not selling the filter thread size. How do l use this system?

A: Please check here the list of step-up rings we're making or you can use our system with the empty Magnetic VND base ring threaded with any third-party step-up rings.


Q: What focal length lenses do you recommend using this filter system with?

A: As a manufacturer, we can test our filters on a limited number of lenses during this test we haven't got a vignette above 16 to 17 millimeters.


Q: Can I use a lens hood with this system? 

A: No, you cannot. The diameter of the VND is bigger than the size of the lens hood; plus, if you want to install a lens hood over a VND filter, it would introduce a vignette into your image.


Q: What are the materials of the filter frame?

A: It's made out of a combination of aluminum with magnets with the CNC process.


Q: Is there a front thread on 2 to 5 and 6 to 9 stops? 

A: There is no front thread and the reason for that is because we want to avoid vignetting.


Q: Why do I see some color shift? 

A: With any VND filter on the market irrespective of its price, you will see a color shift. The reason is that the effect of VND is created by rotating two pieces of glass. So, with the coating process. We can reduce the color shift, but we cannot eliminate it nor can any other VND manufacturer on the market. This is the reason VND is used mainly for run-and-gun situation videos.


Q: Can I just purchase 2 to 5 or 6 to 9 stops?

A: No, this product will be available as a set only and you cannot buy parts separately. Each VND magnetic filter is made manually for the whole system to work.


Q: How can I use Eiger Matte Box with Magnetic VND system?
A: Please watch this video.

Q: If the Magnetic VND Mist filter works with the original VND system if i remove the VND from the system? Will mist filter work on its own with the empty VND holder?
A: No. You can't remove the VND and use the mist filter independently. You need to attach the Empty base ring to the lens, and then put the VND base into the Empty base ring. Then attach the VND 2-5/VND6-9 filter. Finally, you need to attach the mist filter on top of the VND filter. Here's a video about the Magnetic VND mist filters effect.
