Setup Guide
1. Connecting SSD:
  1. Ensure your M.2 SSD is compatible with one of the supported interfaces (2280, 2260, 2242, 2230).
  2. Insert the SSD into the hub securely.
2. Connecting to Smartphone:
  1. Use the included USB-C cable to connect the hub to your smartphone.
  2. Ensure the smartphone recognizes the SSD in its file management system. A blue data line icon will appear on Smart Island, and a new SSD folder will be added to the file system.
3. Accessory Setup:
  1. Attach microphones, lights, or other devices to the cold shoe mount.
  2. Mount the hub to a tripod using the ARCA mount.
4. Using the Bluetooth Remote:
Pair the remote with your smartphone:
  1. Turn on Bluetooth on your smartphone.
  2. Connect to "FREEWELL" in the Bluetooth settings.
  3. The Bluetooth remote has a range of 15 meters and should be switched off when not in use.
The remote magnetically attaches to the hub for quick and convenient use.

  4. If the light indicator is flashing but unable to connect, follow these steps on your phone:
  5. Go to "Settings".
  6. Find "Bluetooth".
  7. If there is a record of "FREEWELL", click the "i" circle and choose the option to "Forget This Device". Try to reconnect.
SSD Connection Issues:
  1. Ensure the SSD is inserted properly and is compatible with the hub.
  2. Restart the smartphone if the SSD is not recognized.

  1. Use a certified 60W power adapter for optimal performance.
  2. Check the cable connections to ensure proper charging.

If you notice the hub warming up, allow it to cool before continued use to prevent overheating.
  2. Ensure proper attachment of your SSD. To avoid data corruption, ensure the SSD is correctly inserted and secured in the holder before use.
  3. Regularly clean your device. Use a dry, soft cloth to clean the device and avoid dust accumulation in ports.

Q: I am trying to boot my SSD into the hub, but when I plug the SSD into the Hub and connect my iPhone, the memory does not show up. Can you help me?

A: Kindly make sure you have formatted your SSD, as any new SSD has to be formatted.
